Of course besides the brand name, but what else makes it expensive. It seems like a really high margin car since it does not have many amazing features, nor has its design change in a while.|||what makes a car luxury and expensive are some factors

all those brands make only a few of those cars per year making them expensive and rare to get, the fabrication was a lot to do with be expensive





insted of unsing machines to build the car they use people (hand made) only 6 cars of saleen s7 are build per year vs thousends of ford rangers





lambo uses gold on the valve covers not make the car more expensive but the gold is the best material for the heat of the engine





and lattest technology are used on the luxury cars like phantom, in the back seats there is a 14" plasma tv on both seats :S they dont uses cheap lcd monitors they uses the best, plasma tv and many others things like satelite navigation, cold or heat cup holder premium sound system|||It's all to do with the rare European walnut forests that are nurtured over centuries, just to provide the gearbox fascia. Not to mention the fourteen hand raised Swiss cattle that comprise the passenger seat.|||Everything about this car says LUXURY - and as you know this is an option that not every car has. Most luxury cars are very plain when compared to a rolls.

Many upscale foreign cars are more feature laden. But.......there not a Rolls. It is a status symbol plain and simple.|||It is just a pricing game due to the fact that only the wealthy can afford this vehicle it does not cost any more money to make a rolls royce than lets say a lincoln|||If I'm not mistaken, they are made by hand, not on a production line. This would spike up the cost. Plus, have you seen the new ones? They're built like tanks. They look super solid.|||It's the brand name!|||It is not mass produced and everything on it is handmade.
