All of the big brand name automobile manufactures have been affected by the economic crisis, but Rolls Royce has not been affected. Why is that?|||because their demand is not contingent (or at least lesser contingent) on market conditions in general|||There will always be rich people who can afford things like that. It is actually very common that when sales are down in other industries, high-end products are still sold. During a recession, the highest class is not affected nearly as much as the rest of the population.|||It's Rolls Royce. The people who buy cars from them are not suffering during this economic crisis.|||Its an $80,000 car that is sold from $175,000 - $500,000....|||because people that can afford a Rolls have so much money that they are not touched by the economic down turn
In fact on the news they said rich people are still shopping but asking for plain bags so that they do not seem so gauche|||I doubt your statement is even true.|||THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD A STABLE SEGMENT OF THE CAR BUYING PUBLIC....RICH FOLKS. THERE ARE ALWAYS GOING TO BE MUSIC MOGULS, CEO'S AND HIGH END CELEBS THAT WANT THE "BRAND NAME" PRESTIGE OF BEING SEEN IN A ROLLS....|||Because 95% of the "Rolls Royce" clientele are The Rich.
We are talking about the establised rich...or the new rich...but they are rich..
They still want vehicles...and they can afford to upgrade.
The cheaper vehicles names are struggling because the working class cannot afford a new car.|||They only sell 1200 cars a year and some people who guessed right about the economy made a lot of money last year. One Hedge fund manager made 3 billion dollars which is where some of the money the banks lost went.|||Because its owned by the germans.. what the f|||Because they don't tend to "finance" their purchases.
If you ask the price of one, you can't afford to buy it!|||Because the rich b*stards that drive them are the once trampling on the poor and making money on the backs of the bruised.
