Prince Charles and Camilla, will they get a "free" Rolls-Royce?

In view of the attack on Charles %26amp; Camilla's old Rolls Royce car during the students protests will Rolls-Royce step in and give them a free bullet proof all singing and dancing car for their future protection.





After all look at the publicity the car would get carrying the Royal couple, seen around the world.


Its would bring in orders 10 fold!!!!|||Tax payers will buy it for them, no doubt. -.-|||No, even though the Rolls in which the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were riding might be one casualty of the student protesters' attack it most probably won't be replaced with another Rolls even if it is armor-plated, since Rolls Royce limousines like the one in which the Prince was traveling are too conspicuous and too difficult to maneuver (King, 2010, December 12, para. 4 and 5). Although a BBC news article points out that the Prince of Wales would have probably been better protected if he were riding in his "less conspicuous" armored Bentley (King, 2010, December 12, para. 5), more than likely, the Royal Family will spent more time traveling in unmarked vans and SUVs with tinted windows as well as helicoptering to various locations. At least, that's what American Presidents currently are more likely to do. The assassination of President John Kennedy in November 1963 was the beginning of the end of all limousines that provided a clear view of the occupants in the United States.



No matter what your political affiliation or views about the current British budget deficit and student tuition rates, please take this attack on the Royals seriously--even if you are personally against the monarchy. Americans of a certain age will tell you that it's no laughing matter.|||The Rolls Royce that they were in the night the car was attacked, was a gift, so maybe Rolls Royce or some other company will present them with a new, all singing all dancing bullet proof Rolls. By the by, I don't think Rolls Royce need the publicity, it is a company that is already quite well known around the world.

What are you advocating, that someone who has made a lot of money, Richard Branson, Bill Gates et al, may not leave it to their offspring?|||The Phantom VI Rolls they were in was a gift to the Queen from the Car Association in 1977 (meaning that it would have been a Silver Jubilee gift to her), so who knows? She'll be celebrating her Diamond Jubilee in 2012.|||I expect that they will say goodbye to the no claims discount on their insurance.|||What, you think they bought the one they were attacked in?|||the one they have is free isnit.|||Then English people the ones who are taxed to death literally, who are now denied an education are the ones who buy it now and will continue to buy them anything they want. They are rich and famous and didn't have to do anything to deserve it.


But then we have politicians who vote down anything for the schools and are rich and have great pensions. When the poor turn on the rich they like royalty will be the first to go.


While having great health coverage denie it to the tax payers who pay their wages.
